Lucy is neck-deep in a court case that started before she was born. Her family was cheated out of their rightful inheritance and Lucy and her brother are determined to get it back. Now that their father is dead, their Uncle Thomas is moving to have the case thrown out of court. Lucy's new acquaintance, Sir Beckwith, is not what she had in mind when she wished for help, but he's what she gets. Can the two unlikely friends fight together through the many dangers ahead of them?
This book is getting 5 stars. And a video review, just to try it out. Forgive my fidgety-ness and word-loss. I was nervous. I have no clue what I'm doing... for the record. (Also, in the video I forgot to mention the insane asylum that gave me creepy crawlies!)
I received this book from Bethany House for free as part of the blogger review program.
Why did I just now discover this? Oh, yeah, video review is a MUST!! When one loves a book so much that one must feel, smell, rub, hub it.... it just screams to be read!! Just can't get all those emotions through printed reviews!!
